How to Measure Your Pet for Travel
To ensure a safe and comfortable journey, an accurate crate size is essential. We calculate your pet’s custom travel space based on strict IATA guidelines.
A
Length (Snout to Base of Tail)
Measure from the tip of the nose to the base (root) of the tail. Do not include the full length of the tail. This ensures the crate has sufficient length for your pet to stand and turn around comfortably.

Height (Ground to Top of Head or Ears)
Measure from the floor up to the highest point of the head. If your pet has pointed or erect ears, measure to the tips of the ears. The crate roof must not touch your pet's head or ears when standing naturally.

Leg Height (Elbow to Ground)
Measure from the floor straight up to the elbow joint of the front leg. This measurement is required to determine the minimum clearance and door opening height of the crate.

Width (Shoulder to Shoulder)
Measure across the widest point of your pet’s shoulders or chest. This guarantees adequate width inside the travel carrier so your pet can lie down in a natural, relaxed position.
